interior design, loft 1010vienna city center - design 2006
This spacious penthouse apartment is situated in the heart of Vienna. In this approach the design concept tries to maintain the quality of wideness. A big part in fulfilling this is the large-scaled glass roof construction which is challenging the interior design concept. Shade-Elements are oriented in a way that the dominance of the roof pitch is reduced. The room appears even larger and more open. The idea is to integrate elements, which are independently placed across the loft and neutralize the given structure. A 25m² aquarium in the floor, a spiral staircase and the integrated furniture create a unique living space. Wide vistas in the 500 m² apartment generate a complex space.
